Lovely and well-regarded porroprism binoculars which I have been cherished and kept carefully.
In original leather case, with the original (leather) strap fitted to it. Also with lens covers and Amber eyepiece covers stored sadly inside the case.
These were made in 1984, and long before the break-up of the Soviet Union which was accompanied by the removal of state funding and subsequently a sharp decline in quality control.
These binoculars are very well collimated and in superb condition with really clear, optics. I don’t see any kind of haze, fogging, dust, fungus or anything at all inside or outside the lenses.
These glasses give a superbly sharp, high magnification view. The colour balance is good and definitely doesn’t show the extreme yellowness of many Russian binoculars.
