Steiner Precision Binoculars with adjustment of Inter-Ocular distance, Diopter Adjustment,Focus Adjustment and Instructions for eyeglass wearers.
For binoculars with a longer relief to the exit pupil (7×50,6×30) fold back the rubber eye cups and adjust both diopters to ”0”. Make observations through the long range part of the eyeglasses or take your glasses off while observing through the binoculars.
Focus Adjustment : Because of their special construction process these precision binoculars make focus re-adjustment unecessary. After correct adjustment of both oculars, the binocular will provide a sharp image from 20m to infinity.
Diopter Adjustment : Adjust the right and left oculars to ”0” look at something 60m/yards away, should the image appear out of focus further diopter adjustment is necessary to compensate for each eyes strength.
Close the right eye- or cover the right side of the binocular-and focus your left eye by adjusting the left ocular. Follow the same procedure for the right eye. Keep note of your diopter setting to avoid further adjustment.
