These are a beautiful pair of binoculars, For a 10×50 magnification they are incredibly lightweight, perfect for a long days viewing.They are clean and operate smoothly. There is evidence of wear but it is minor and the view is sharp, crisp and clear.The case is in good shape but the strap is broken. The lenses look like they have been cleaned and serviced and are free from dirt and fungi.They we made in West Germany so pre-nineties is an estimate of date of manufacture.The weight really is astonishing and these would make an ideal gift for someone young or old who likes the classic look.
