Victorian Vintage Single Draw TelescopeSupplied ByW.W Greener GunmakersBirminghamEnglandCirca 1890This is an extremely rare late Victorian Period single draw telescope supplied by W. W Greener Gunmakers of Birmingham England. It is of brass construction sheaved in leather with blacked draws and cover so as not to reflect light whilst stalking. Traditional single draw design with extendable spray shield for objective lens to limit water on the lens and slide eye lens cover for protection. The first draw is marked with WW Greeners details and Paris made. It would have been manufactured on behalf of the gun maker, hence there details and sold from there retail shops much as Holland & Holland supply Swarovski made binoculars today with Holland & Holland marked on those.   It is extremely rare for this type of item to come fresh to the market, and the first we have had the privilege to own.The instrument is in excellent working order returning crystal sharp imaging, easy slide and both eye piece and objective lens covers present and working.Would make a fine giftDimensions: 17 3/4″(45.2cm) closed 25 3/4″(65.2cm) fully extendedThe Postage includes the cost of shipping insurance to the full value Dont miss out on this superb piece of history as a wonderful collectors item.We have included multiple pictures which form an integral and largest part of our description, please study them carefully and feel free to ask any questions you may feel relevant.
