For sale; my 10 inch Dobsonian Sky watcher telescope

These are great telescopes with a massive aperture, and such a light bucket enables you to see Deep Sky Objects in great detail, as well as enormous detail on planets and the moon

I have upgraded it to include the following:

* Synscan GoTo handset; works perfectly

* Rother Valley Optics Dobsonian magnetic counter balance weight plus rail (fitted) you slide the magnet along the rail at the tail of the Dob to achieve balance in case you add something heavier at the front (such as a red dot finder or a heavier finder-scope, for example)

* Heavy duty castors on the base (4) which help to move the heavy telescope on the ground and avoid lifting

I am only selling as firstly I need the space in my garage, and secondly I just can’t get on with a Dobsonian (I prefer my Celestron on my AVX mount); there’s nothing at all wrong with it, it’s just a personal preference thing

The scope is for collection only, I really don’t fancy packing it up and sending it via courier, (even though I do have the original boxes for the lucky buyer), I’m happy to possibly meet somewhere roughly halfway if there is any distance involved

I’m selling this as a really knockdown price as I could do with the cash before Christmas, I need the space in my garage and I fancy an automated star finder for my Celestron

I have confidence that this is a real bargain price, you only have to look on eBay and the astronomy outlets on the internet to see this so I’m looking for a quick sale
