The Sky-Watcher Heritage 76 (3") f/300 Mini Dobsonian is a highly affordable and easy to use Dobsonian base telescope that is perfect for beginners. Thanks to its careful engineering including aluminized and over-coated mirrors the Sky-Watcher Heritage 76 Mini Dobsonian Telescope combines ease of use, extreme portability and consistent great all-around astronomical viewing performance. The optical tube gathers enough light to allow simple study of galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae. The telescope comes equipped, as standard, with a 5x magnification Finderscope, for the easy location of night sky objects. Also the two supplied eyepieces have been specially upgraded to higher quality Super Modified Achromats to increase your viewing pleasure. The uncomplicated manually operated Dobsonian alt-azimuth mount makes it a convenient, highly portable, grab-and-go system. The complete telescope and mount comes fully assembled straight out of the presentation gift box.
Heritage 76 further details: The Sky-Watcher Heritage-76 has been specially designed to celebrate the International Year of Astronomy (IYA) and the 400th Anniversary of Galileo’s first telescope. This is not only a highly functional precision optical instrument but also a beautiful collector’s piece, desk or shelf ornament, and ideal gift. The beautiful, luxurious tube graphics depict a richly historical theme. The images have been specially designed to symbolise Galileo and his conflict with the Catholic church. Galileo Galilei’s public championing of Copernicus’ theory of heliocentrism, which was contrary to the geocentric beliefs at the time, eventually led to him being denounced to the Roman Inquisition. He was subsequently tried, suspected of heresy, forced to recant, and spent the rest of his life under house arrest. Of course Galileo, “The father of modern science” and “The father of modern observational astronomy” was proved right in the end. The telescope tube is also adorned with the words “Galileo 400” and “International Year of Astronomy” as well as key dates in the lifetime of Galileo. UK Shipping Orders received before 2pm are usually dispatched the same working day. Standard UK shipping is FREE. UK orders under 300 are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery. Most items are delivered the next working day, but Royal Mail’s estimate for this delivery service is 1-3 days. However, please bear in mind that we cannot contact Royal Mail about deliveries that have not arrived until ten working days have passed. We also offer GUARANTEED NEXT DAY DELIVERY for an additional 4.99. UK orders over 300 will either be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, or DHL Courier. Both will arrive next working day.
Shipping Outside the UK We are happy to ship to most countries, but if you are ordering from South America or Africa, please contact us first for a quote and to check the guidelines regarding addresses we are able to ship to. Orders to Russia must be delivered to a business address otherwise your order will be cancelled.
Returns If your item is faulty, please contact us by telephone ASAP on 02920 394 182 or 01633 262738. If you wish to return an item, please return to the address below with a short cover note explaining the reason return and what you would like done, a note of ebay user name, and a copy of your receipt. This will ensure that your return is dealt with as quickly as possible. RETURNS OF UNWANTED ITEMS MUST BE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE ITEMS. Items that are returned to us in perfect unopened and unused condition will receive a full refund. Any item that has been opened or used will incur a 10% restocking/repackaging fee.
