HELIOS ST102 / SKY WATCHER STAR TRAVEL 102mm +  VIDEO/IMAGING ASTRONOMY KIT.

Great introduction telescope to astronomy. The Camera allows planetary and lunar imaging or video recording. Montior image above looks blue but is normal, caused due to flash from camera.
Telescope is clean free from marks as it should be.

The company Sky watcher owned Helios, this is identical to the star travel 102mm if you need to find the specifications. Exactly the same optics etc only difference is colour. Would say this has
an edge having a finder scope instead of a red dot finder.

 views of the moon, stars planets etc are great in stunning detail. Perfect size if you wish to carry. Easy setup and will not disappoint. Can be lifted with one hand.

Decided to add a camera to compliment the package for a beginner keeping any keen astronomer busy.

Included are some images. Camera connects to a monitor or laptop. The old monitor still works perfectly and you will enjoy using it
so will include. A usb Grabber allows connection to a laptop so the monitor isn’t necessary but there none the less. Can be connected to a TV etc if need be.
Image above taken from an avi video. Camera takes a battery and dc power, so can be used with or without wires. Less to manage around with in the dark.
Have videos of Jupiter and taken many lunar surface images with the camera and videos.

A recent housing development located right behind our garden with addition of Street lights forces sale
So needs a good home for someone to put it to better use otherwise will just keep it as a grab and go :)

Grab a bargain, finding another one with a camera will be far and few at this price

To record or view live i would advise to use the software provided with the USB grabber or download Sharpcap free.
