This telescope comes complete with a DC motor drive powered by 4 x D batteries (not included) and controlled by a single axis corrector with 2 x and 4 x speed modes, together with a Next Generation Laser collimator to get you started. I have included a Moon Filter also.
I have listed this unit as ‘new other’ because I bought it as a present to myself however, I have been lucky enough to have a special Christmas present and I now have two telescopes, so this one has to go. It is boxed as new and comes with a Motor Drive which when equatorial aligned will track the object being viewed.
The mount is an EQ2 on a very sturdy Aluminium tripod and features 360 slow-motion tracking gears on both the right ascension and declination axes with flexible controls. It has a red dot finder to aid viewing and a 1/4 inch adapter for camera piggyback. It is assembled for inspection by arrangement. Please message through ebay.
I have included the BNIB laser collimator shown in the photographs along with a 2 x Barlow and two eye pieces, Super 10 and Super 25 for wide angle. The EQ2 Equatorial Mount is suited to both beginners and experienced astronomers. It offers very good stability and the tall, fully adjustable aluminium tripod with large accessory tray is a real plus.Local collection from Hook in Hampshire (RG27) please because of the size of this excellent unit.
