Russian Tall telescope tube assembly
This scope is actually a Tall 100 rs, which was the successor to the tal 100.
Its a 100 mm air spaces muti coated objective made in Russia.
it has had the following upgrades:
The scope has been covered in a antique finish bronze leather,this is good because the white paint does not get chipped.
The focus mount was fine in itself but it has been upgraded with a superb helical focus by Ian Poysner, this system has ZERO slip and is very precise.
This scope has superb colour correction and is as sharp as Pentax in my opinion
The finder scope is a gem, nice crisp clear wide angle image with a helical focus eyepiece.
As it stands this kit has cost over 500.
