Russian Binoculars KOMZ – Baigish BPO(s) 10×42
This is a russian high quality military binoculars Baigish BPO series are manufactured by KOMZ (Kazan Optical and Mechanical Plant).
“B” stands for binocular, “P” for Porro prism, “O” stands “with the increased removal of a target pupil for the people wearing glasses, and for possibility to put on a gas mask”, and “s” for Reticle.
The binoculars BPO series have metallic hermetically sealed rubberized body which reliably protects the devices from the penetration of water and dust and also prevents the damage to the objective lens caused by casual impacts and vibration.
The binoculars has a sophisticated 7-lens eyepiece construction.
Due to the large exit pupil clearance (21 mm) and separate eyepieces focusing the binoculars could be successfully used by persons with spectacles on. High resolution with the exit pupil diameter of 4,2 mm enables observation in cloudy conditions and at twilight.
The measuring grid within the right eyepieces enables to estimate the distance to the object.
The binoculars have a large diopter setting range and supplied with the special covers for eyepieces and objective lens.
The binoculars are designed for observation of distant objects at an ambient temperature of -40 to +50 C.
