The Revelation 8″ F/6 M-CRF Premium Dobsonian (White) is a fantastically easy-to-use telescope for both beginners and serious amateurs alike. Equally at home providing clear, detailed views of Deep Sky objects or Planetary and Lunar targets alike, this f/6 instrument is an easy lift for most users. The Revelation adjustable trunion system can be used to find a perfect altitude balance point and this telescope’s inbuilt 12v fan system will ensure its optics reach an optimum cool-down point in the quickest time possible.Set-up of the Revelation 8″ F/6 M-CRF Premium Dobsonian (White) is as easy as you can imagine: first take the rocker box out and put it on a level, stable surface, insert the telescope tube and tighten the CNC trunion bearings and you’re ready to go! You can easily navigate through the night sky by simply moving the tube up or down, or side to side, by hand – no complicated alignment routines, just the simple joy of observing the Universe unhindered.Sighting the telescope is achieved by using the included 8x50mm crosshair finderscope, which is amongst the better examples bundled with a telescope of this size and value. Also included are a 2-inch Premium Widefield 30mm eyepiece and a higher power 9mm 1.25-inch Plossl, providing x40 and x133 magnifications respectively. Both eyepieces are again, much better than the standard fare supplied with other instruments of this sort.
All Revelation dobsonian use optical quality BK7 glass and as previously stated, have cooling fans built into the rear cell to decrease cool-down times, also all Revelation Dobsonians use a roller bearing on the azimuth surface providing dozens of support points for smooth swivel motion. This deluxe 8-inch model comes with 2-inch 10:1 Dual Speed Crayford-style focuser with a 1.25-inch adapter.
