A six inch reflector I started to build over thirty years ago using instructions from the book “Handbook for telescope making” by N.E. Howard. The basic unit was constructed and the mirror ground and silvered but the mounting was never completed. An ideal project for someone to finish or even a set of spares which are not easy to obtain. No eyepieces but unit contains:
Ground six inch silvered mirror
Cast mount for the mirror
Diagonal mirror and spider (a bought unit)
Adjustable sleeve for the eyepiece
Plastic casing with access hole cut
Caps for mirror end, and diagonal
I will include the book in this sale
Actual dimensions of casing 21 cm diameter and 128 cm long
This item is not heavy but is large and finding a courier is unlikely so you will need to arrange collection.
