Here is a Solis Scientific Ltd 10″ diameter reflecting telescope. It was made in Glasgow I have been told around the 1970s possibly earlier, hence it is a sturdy and Heavyweight piece of kit. It has a body of 10″ and a length of 46″. The height to the tripod base is 32″. 

I bought this about a year ago but it is too large for me to keep set up in the conservatory so I am looking for a smaller model. The detail it gives is stunning and I cant imagine there will be many scopes that will give this quality without paying an awful lot of money.

 It has a separate sighting scope.

 It has 3 eyepieces – 25mm, 10mm, and a 6mm

 It has a Moon and Sky Glow filter.

 A separate eyepiece adaptor.

 There is also a camera adaptor.

 The tripod is a fold away version made from a combination of wood and metal and I feel that the tripod could do with beefing up if it was to be left standing on it all the time as the mount is all cast steel with a very heavy counterbalance on it.

 It will have to be COLLECTION ONLY due to the weight and delicate nature of the mirror etc.
