Amateur astronomy is a great family hobby that can be enjoyed all year round. The PowerSeeker series is an easy to set up telescope with no tools required, allowing for the user to easily begin to enjoy the wonders of the Universe.The Celestron PowerSeeker 80EQ is designed to give the perfect combination of quality, value, features and power. With its reflector design and large 80mm aperture, it’s a great way to open up the wonders of the Universe to the aspiring astronomer. The German equatorial mount and tripod included with this telescope is best suited for astronomical use, however, can be used for terrestrial viewing. This mount contains setting circles and slow motion cables which make it easier to locate and track astronomical objects.
