PHILLIPS SPC 900NC ASTRO CAMERAThis is the superb Phillips webcam which has been modified for taking images of galaxies, stars, planets, nebulae and numerous other astronomy targets with your telescope.Has a 1.25″ adapter nozzle to fit into your telescope focuser.This camera has also been modified to take long exposure images. There is a switch on the camera with the letters N & L. These stand for N – normal exposure & L – long exposure. This is critical for taking images of galaxies and nebulae etc which require up to 30 minutes and more exposure time.I purchased this camera from an astronomer who is loosely aquainted with the sky at night programme. I haven’t had the chance to use it myself as I never really had the time to set it all up.It comes with a USB cable and software driver.You need to be familiar with astronomy software programmes and imaging to operate this camera. If you are a novice then you will need to look up and see how to operate this camera.
