this is a genuine old pair of military german u boat binoculars made by carl zeiss, they are in original untouched condition, looking through the opposite ends one side has chipped lenses as seen in the photos, doesnt seam to affect vision too much, other side you can see a couple of small blobs, possibly cement that held the lenses in place, id say the lenses are clear for their age and much better than others ive seen, viewing best option as im selling these for the collectable value rather than a useable pair, these are very rare and highly sought after and also a great investment for the future. they have original leather strap, not sure what the rubber tube is thats between the eyepieces, not seen this before, im guessing it attached to covers for the eyepieces. viewing recommended otherwise please enlarge all 12 photos.  it came with more rare pieces ill be listing. please note i will be away when this auction ends so it will be posted week commencing 8th august.
