Orion USA GiantView 25 x 100 mm Observation binocular. F.O.V 2.5 Degrees.
Fully Multi-coated, complete with lockable hard case, lanyard and all lens caps. They have been out of case, handled, set on tripod then put away. Light marks to rubber, un-avoidable on such a weighty binocular, but this is really trivial indeed. These are over 300 + postage to order new. Very clean condition, collimation 100% perfect, lenses the same. I have owned at lease 6 pairs of 100 mm binoculars, up-to the Quantum 7.4 by Helios.
Optically there’s very little indeed between them. The major difference is the construction. These defiantly have a better body than the Celestrons. The brace clamp is larger and sturdier, and lens cells of better quality.
The lens coatings are superb ! but very hard to photograph.
I have seen Saturn’s rings in this size binocular, routinely. And Satellites every single time, even 2 at a time. Immense light grasp for deep sky, and simply awesome for long distance daytime viewing.
In excellent condition. If you have never trained 100 mm bino’s on the night sky, get ready for a real treat !
