OriginalWW2 German 6×30 binocular Bakelite case in excellent conditionThis Bakelite case for the standard 6×30 German binoculars of the WW2 period is in excellent original condition both inside and out. The sprung loaded clasp works correctly with a strong spring and completely intact leather grip. The leather belt loops on the back are still secure with no signs of wear or cracking. The metal fittings retain most of their original paint with very little rust. The leather shoulder strap looks too good to be true as it is in very good condition so I cannot vouch for its originality. The padding inside the lid and the shoulder rests at the bottom of the case have no tears or other marks. The inside of the case, the metal clasp, and the tip of one belt lop carry the usual wartime markings for these cases (see photos).
