Due to its 900mm focal length and 70mm aperture in combination with the proven EQ2 mount, this Orbinar refracting provides fantastic image sharpness and contrast.
This Orbinar refracting telescope gathers 100 times more light than the human eye, which makes it easy for you to discover e.g. the cratered landscapes of the moon as well as the planets Saturn, Mars and Jupiter and countless clusters of stars, nebulas and galaxies.
Faintest discernable stars: 11.5M! (over 1,000,000 Stars visible!)
The EQ2 mount with its height-adjustable aluminium tripod is considerably sturdier than the smaller EQ1 mount and offers – unlike azimuthal mounts – the opportunity of motor driven star tracking (a motor drive is not included in the contents of delivery).
The 31.7mm (1.25″) accessory socket enables you to extend your telescope equipment with standard eyepieces and associated filters.
The four included eyepieces allow you to obtain the following magnifications: 45x, 77x, 90x, 144x, 150x, 225x, 300x, 450x.
