The optics are perfectly clear and pin sharp right across the full field of view and are free from any scratches. They are haze & fungus free with some internal dust particles just behind the front element as you would expect from any push pull design optical instrument. This has no effect on the image or use whatsoever and this is not visible during use.The eyepiece diopter adjustment is free and smooth, well damped and works as it should.The built in tripod mount shows light signs of use, is in working order with an uncrossed thread. Included is the genuine carrycase with shoulder strap which is waterproof and padded to protect the scope.
