Welcome to this special and very rare sale of a pair of boxed NIKON 12×50 SE-CF binoculars.
These binoculars are now discontinued and can not be found in the shops. I have not seen a pair on eBay for a long while and might not again for quite some time! They were retail at over 900. This is largest pair from the SE-CF family of binoculars and are popular amongst astronomers and birding enthusiasts.
These binoculars are in very good condition with no markings, bangs, dents, scratches or scuffs to the body, lenses, eyepieces and no detriment to the rubber pieces. There are a couple of marks to the lens caps which can be seen in a certain light as shown in the photos. The Nikon strap is present and very good condition.
The binoculars come in the original Nikon leather carry case. This case is free of any scratches, scuffs rips or tears. It does however have a couple of superficial light marks/signs of use. A good leather cleaner should shine it up like a new penny I’m sure!
The box for these binoculars is quite tatty, slight rip at each side as seen in the photos but this is the original box never the less. Inside are a couple of leaflets in very good condition.
These binoculars have been a fond part of my father’s collection and he is sad to see them go. Please see my other auctions for similar listings and check again in the future as there will be more binoculars, scopes and other great lots coming in the near future.
