MIRANDAbinoculars and camera gear was a brand bought by U.K. high streetretailer DIXONS, and, up until the first few years of this centurythey sold a vast number of MIRANDA branded products at temptingly lowprices. Quality was probably `acceptable` rather than high, customersbasically got what they paid for.Thislisting is for a MIRANDA 8 x 40 wide angle porroprism binocular withgold coated optics and I would guess it dates from the late eighties.It is in excellent condition not far from `mint`. It featuresrubber fold down eyecups for spectacle wearers and comes completewith it`s original accessories red lined case with strap, webbingneckstrap, all lens caps, MIRANDA guarantee tag and a new microfibrelens cloth.
