Onoffer here is a pair of MIRANDA 8 x 40 Gold Coated Optics Wide Angle BINOCULARS.

Externally,the binoculars come in overall good condition. Nevertheless, as onewould expect of a pair of used binoculars, they do exhibit some signsof wear. For instance, they contain some surfacescratching, and they are a little dirty in places. I haveuploaded a number of photographs, so please do take a look at theseto help make your own judgment of the binoculars’ condition.

Optically,the binoculars provide a nice, sharp image. Looking backwards throughthe binoculars, I can confirm that there is no damage to the internalprisms. Please note, however, that there does appear to be a slight fungal presence, and there is a mild presence of internally-located fibres. Thankfully, the optics of the binoculars are not unduly affected by the above.

Thebinoculars’ main focusing barrel remains freely adjustable, as doesthat of the right viewfinder (albeit the latter is a little stiff).The relative position of the binoculars’ two barrels are also freelyadjustable.

Thebinoculars come with their original front and rear lens caps, as wellas a pre-attached lanyard.

Furthermore,the binoculars come with their original hard case. This remains in good, sturdy condition, albeit it does exhibit some slightsigns of storage wear. It comes with an unattached lanyard.

Dimensions(maximum) of the binoculars: 18.4 cm x 13.3 cm x 5.5 cm.Weightof the binoculars (inclusive of lanyard): 670 g.
