                                                 MEOPTA  7  X 50  Individual Eye FocusBinoculars This auction is for a used  pair of Meopta 7 x 50 Binoculars which havecoated lenses ( deep blue ).They were originally produced in Czechoslovakiaby a company known as Srb and Stys  whoproduce binoculars, microscopes and many optical instruments and wassubsequently incorporated into the Meopta concern in 1946. This modelis the  civilian version of the D 7 militarybinocular and is quite rare and has the Independent eyepieces This particular pair has a good case which is in very good condition with a redlining and the original strap and the  lanyard isalso original .  The eyecups have the standardwaterproof / and protection cover.  The serial number is  20810234. Cosmetically they are in excellent condition with just a very smallabrasion on the left hand housing. Thebody work and the general condition is superb. Optically they are in top condition and the imageproduced gives an exceptional bright and sharp view. This Company is renowned for the quality of selectedglass  also optical design and productionfor many years in Czechoslovakia. This7 x 50  modelwas designed  for all outdoor functionsespecially water sport activities , when a steady image is more desirable andthis format does excel under poor light conditions.Reverseviewing show no sign of scratch marks or fungus or any damage to the lenscoatings which are in excellent condition throughout.
