Lovely condition Meade 12″ LX90 ACF telescope with GPS and Autostar computer control.
Advanced Coma Free optics with UHTC coatings.

Meade Autostar software makes finding and tracking over 30,000 objects a doddle. Saves so much time and frustration! The handset controls the movement of the telescope at various speeds. Both battery and mains power.

2.5 years old, used with care, very well looked after and loved! Fully functional and complete. Optics in excellent condition. Tripod has no rust whatsoever. Selling only to help fund a very large aperture reflector (I’ve got aperture fever!!)

Breathtaking views of moon, planets and deep-sky objects – particularly when I’ve taken it to a dark sky site, solo setup is fine even for a weed like me!

Alt/Az tracking automatically tracks objects, keeping them in the eyepiece, great for visual observing and short exposure astrophotography. (Note that for long exposure astro-photography you would need an equatorial wedge).

Has a 8x50mm straight through finder and an illuminated red-dot finder.

*Revelation 99% reflectivity Dielectric diagonal with 1.25″ and 2″ eyepiece fitting (vast improvement on the standard diagonal that came with the scope)

Also various odds and ends such as 360 degree bubble level, rear cell stopper, air blower, 1.25″ eyepiece adapter which fits directly to back of scope, spare plastic grub screws for the 8x50mm finderscope (these are quite delicate so I’ve discovered its very handy to have some spares!)

I still have the original owners manual (which I have made the odd scribble/note in) and a Meade Astrofinder software CD. Also the original packaging and boxes (tripod comes in one box, scope and everything else in another).

Collection preferred, though I am happy to send via a courier, at buyers expense. As previously stated the whole set-up comes in two large, heavy boxes so I estimate the cost would be in the region of 50…can get an exact price on request.
