For sale 1 used Meade 14″ (14 inch) LX200 GPS-SMT with UHT coating GOTO telescope and tripod. Assemble, press a button, it aligns by itself, then select what you want to view and off it goes automatically. Very handy.
Also comes with a JMI case for it (wheelbarrow) for easy moving/protecting of it. And comes with a box of Meade eyepieces which was a freebie at time of purchase.
Purchased in the USA when working there. Only used 3 times.
This is a monster telescope. Not for the faint hearted. Much much more powerful than a puny 8,10 or even 12″ Meade. Needs 2/3 to put on the tripod its so tall and heavy.
Selling as I never use it now as its soo big and light polllution in London is so bad.
In last months UK Astronomy now magazine I saw this model still for sale for over 6000 (without JMI case and extra eyepieces) so here is a chance to pickup a bargain.
