I bought this telescope in 2009 and I’ve used it less than 10 times (astronomy just never gripped me!) 

The telescope has been thoroughly cleaned and I used an alcohol solution for cleaning the lens. It is in very good condition for an 8 year old telescope.

You’ll see from the pics that it has picked up some faint scratches and one or two more visible ones – but they are hardly noticeable (please refer to pics closely) – the biggest mark is on the belly of the telescope (pointing toward the floor)

Where the receding arm enclosures screw to the telescopic legs a small piece of plastic has snapped off (see pic)- I’ve managed to fix this by inserting a slightly larger screw than the original. If you want to attempt a better repair you can do as I will include the broken piece in the parcel. This doesn’t affect the telescope and is not serious at all.

I’ve included a battery for the laser finder (this has been tested and still works perfectly)

The telescope comes with an instructional DVD and Autostar suit (suitable for PC)

You can adjust the legs so that the telescope is at near head level while stood up. You can lower each 3 legs for seating height.

The magnification is very good, suitable for the Moon, planets and stars. Superb for Earthly landmarks as well. 

The tube has a focal length of 700mm, andits objective lens has a diameter of 70mm.
