This auction is for a Meade telescope, the ETX80
It’s an 80mm refractor scope (refractors are the best type of scope for astro photography). It has a port to connect your DSLR camera via a suitable t-ring.
This scope comes with the Meade tripod stand, and the Meade backpack which the scope packs into.
I’ll also include the official Meade software and cable to remotely control this scope from a windows computer. (Please understand, it’s not windows 10 software, it’s older than this, though I did have the software up and running within win7) and you’ll also need a serial port on your computer (though I can provide a USB-serial cable, it’s not guaranteed to work with all chipsets of all computers..). When up and running, you can have the scope outdoors, and once aligned, tell the scope to point at whatever you want from the Meade software.
The scope has its own built in computer to do this anyway, so you don’t have to use it with a secondary PC. It has useful options like “tour tonight’s best”
Also included is a power adapter with extended lead I made to take the scope to a more remote spot in the garden.. the lead is 10metres long (might be 15m, I forget right now) and the standard battery pack obviously comes with it, as do the two Meade eye pieces that came with it when it was purchased. The instruction manual is also included, and the original box also. The tripod also comes with a storage bag, (and I might have a box for this also).
I’ve also got a box to put the back pack in, and so with three boxes, that’s going to be arkward to send, though not impossible.. I’ll put this up as collection only for now, but if you’re interested in this and live in a spot of the country that’s a bit further away from Tarleton, near Preston, get in touch and we’ll see what we can sort out regarding delivery.
