I am selling a very lightly used UHTC GOTO telescope with Autostar. Bought for me as a present and used a handful of times many years ago, I am selling this on in excellent condition and working order (although note the 2 points below).

Includes:

– Autostar suite Software CD which I installed on my PC and checked was still loading and working, although you can still download latest versions and autostar updater from Meade’s site.

– A brand new USB/serial cable (in case you don’t have a serial connection on your PC), which I purchased last week to test this all with and it worked fine, including allowing me to upgrade the Autostar unit to latest version.

– The scope and Deluxe Field tripod

– Carry bag as shown

– Instructions

-DVD/CD includes instructional DVD, moonmaps, instructions and extras

– BOOK / SKY CHART Bundle as per picture – all in very good condition.

2 minor issues I noticed when I got this back out of storage (see individual pictures of both). Firstly, the finderscope is quite flimsy on these and this one cracked where it attaches to the scope. This has been repaired/ glued and is quite solid and the finderscope works and can be adjusted as normal. Secondly the lock nut has a plastic cover/handle and this has also been glued as was cracking. It still works and the nut underneath can be locked/unlocked with this if you ever needed to without the plastic cover, but again I want to be completely transparent about the condition of this.

Comes form a pet and smoke free home.

I would prefer a pick-up so whoever buys is completely happy with this.

Value of package with the books etc, was over 800 new as this is a quality GOTO package and looking at prices of others sold on eBay( up to 490) then 350 start seems fair.
