LEITZ 10x40B TRINOVID BINOCULARS
ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND ARE COMPLETE WITH THEIR ORIGINAL LANYARD AND RAINGUARD.
At 580gms and 140mm x 120mm, these binoculars are substantially lighter in weight and a much slimmer design than their competitors. This is due to the special Uppendahl prism system used exclusively in this Trinovid series, and the slim design which this prism system enables, making them extremely comfortable to hold. They are also extremely well balanced in the hand.
With a field of view of 110m/1000m, they are optically superior to many of their competitors also.
The optics are perfect, crystal clear inside and out with no scratches on the lenses. The body shows some small signs of normal use. The mechanics are butter smooth as usual for these binoculars. The collimation (alignment of the optics) is perfect.
Serial number of 809256 indicates this binocular to be among the last made in Germany before production was transferred to Portugal.
Wonderful for astronomy, stalking, birdwatching and general use.
