LEITZ / LEICA 10x40B BINOCULAR WITH STRAP AND CASE.
These binoculars are a product of Leica and as such, the quality is extremely good. However, during the time I have had them (approx 12 years), they have built up some cloudiness inside one of the binocular tubes. This can be seen when looking at a bright light through the objective lenses through to the light. Therefore, I am selling them only to someone who is willing to get them cleaned internally. Please do not return them for this fault as it is clearly stated and I’m afraid I can’t offer a refund for this fault.
There they will need recolimating when cleaned (this is normal practice).
The repair technician I recommend is Mr Tony Kay at OPTREP, telephone number 01243 601365.
Since I do not have the original case, I will includeda suitable Zeiss one.
Recommended for bird watching, general purpose (every situation where a high quality compact binocular is needed).
Weighs 580gms. Dimensions 115x140cms.
Please read my feedback comments. I have a 100% satisfaction record from every binocular I have sold, with some very complementary comments over the years. As I am now 81, I don’t use these binoculars.
