Leitz6x24 Trinovid circa 1963/65 classic binoculars & case immaculateWhilstresearching the Trinovid model I came across very interestingcomments such as highly advanced and truly astoundingperformance. The 6×24 model was in production from 1963 but wasnot as popular as the 8×32 and was discontinued in 1965 hence a muchmore scare model. This particular pair look to have been only verylightly used over 50 years and are in excellent condition. They havea little edge rubbing around the object rims but other than this theyare excellent. Looking through them, I can appreciate the abovecomment truly outstanding. With superior weather sealing, theyhave centre focusing using the top knob and internal dioptre focusingusing the bottom knob. This pair are inscribed around the eye cupareas with Leitz Wetzlar, 8×24 212m/1000m Trinovid, Germany 629864.Thesecome with a black leather neck strap. There is also a hard brownleather case lined with plush red velvet and fitted with a shoulderstrap. The case is in excellent condition and is impressed LeitzWetzlar Germany.
