Offered for sale are my Leica Geovid range-finding binoculars. The model is 10 x 42 BRF-M, ranging in metres.

These binoculars have been used regularly and are showing signs of use, with the odd wear mark or scratch. There is no slop or play on the hinge and they move very smoothly. 

They are optically excellent but do have minor cleaning marks on the lenses and one objective lens has a tiny chip, which I’ve shown in the photographs. This can not be seen in the field of view and does not affect their use whatsoever. 

The case and strap show signs of wear also, as you can see.

The eyepieces focus correctly and the covers move in and out just fine. The binoculars focus absolutely right and the range-finding facility works just as it should. I have just replaced the battery.

The binoculars come boxed with paperwork.

I have tried to be as honest as I can, both in my description and in the photographs. If you are in the market for a pristine pair of Leica Geovids, then I’m afraid that these may not be for you.
