For sale are my wonderful Leica 10 x 50 BA binoculars. I think they are still under warranty for a free service from Leica. You can check with Leica on the web – serial no.1048589.
They are in excellent condition with no fogging or scratches on the lenses and the bodywork is first rate. They have been well looked after by me and the previous owner. Comes with Leica strap, but no lens caps or case. What you see in the pictures looking like marks, are specks of dust and reflections which I can’t actually see with my naked eyes.
I have had them for a couple of years now, and the only reason I am selling them is because I am ageing and they feel a bit heavy. I have just bought some smaller, lighter Leica 10 x 42 ultravids.
Comparing the two of them I actually prefer the 10 x 50s as they let in a lot more light and have less chromatic aberration, but the 10 x 42s are easier for me to carry about now.
There is a lot of information about these excellent bins on the internet, and I think for the price you can’t go wrong. Cash on collection is fine if you want to see them for yourself.
