Unused. Recently purchased as a present, which turned out not to be needed.

There are a number of variants of this binocular (Leupold, Opticron, Celestron & others) of which the Kowa is the best for quality of glass, coatings and accessories. The porro prism configuration gives far better optical quality than roof prism binoculars in the same price range, as well as the advantages of enhanced 3D effect from the wider set objective lenses. They are unusually compact and light for an 8×30 binocular, which makes them more suitable than most binoculars for younger users.
