Unused. Recently bought as a present – potential recipient changed their mind.

There are a number of variants of this binocular (Leupold, Opticron, Celestron & others) of which the Kowa is the best for quality of glass, coatings and accessories (and the most expensive). The porro configuration, with its less complex light path, provides a sharper, brighter image than roof prism binoculars in the same price range as well as enhancing the 3D effect. Optically, these are as good as, or better than, roof prism binoculars at twice the price. Unusually light and compact for an 8×30 binocular and very pleasant to handle for both adults and children. Bright, sharp, 60 degree image with accurate, well saturated colour.
