The KOWAbrand was one of the first Japanese sourced prismatic `spotting scopes` brands,first appearing I think in the 1950`s. The brand has since then been at theforefront of optical design producing both binoculars and scopes though theyare probably better known for their spotting scopes especially in the U.K.Very popular with birders, they have consistently been strong sellers due tofine optical ability and good build quality.
