A centre, fast-focus mechanism runs through the entire focus range in just 1.8 turns, so your initial focus is fast and tracking moving subjects is easy.Complementing the optical performance is a lightweight and durable poly-carbonate chassis wrapped in textured slip-resistant rubber armouring. Utilising poly-carbonate not only reduces weight without sacrificing strength, but the material is temperature-resistant so it will not expand and contract the way metal does. Over time, thermal expansion and contraction can cause the optical components to move out of alignment, preventing the binocular from being able to achieve sharp focus.
