Here’s a very nice pair of vintage German binoculars for sale.
They’re a pair of Hartmann Wetzlar 117 Porlerim 8×30 in beautiful condition complete with very desirable Homa leather case in very nice condition.
Apart from some dust and a couple of very minor paint chips these are near mint. There are no dents, scratches or damage anywhere. They’ve been looked after very well indeed. The only variation from perfect is the inner lens on the right hand is a little loose and the glasses would benefit from being overhauled and this tightened up. The view through them however is still perfect.
These are a high quality, desirable pair of binoculars which will enhance any one’s collection and whilst they not only look good, will only appreciate in value.
Ideal for general purpose use, very light and compact. They’re a good looking pair too.
Complete with Homa leather case in very nice condition, nicely patinated and with some wear to the leather at the fastener but all intact and in very good shape. It has a couple of lens cloths marked W G Whiting Ltd, Royal exchange Manchester so these will have been bought from a high quality retailer who also supplied the case and chucked in a couple of cloths too. Sadly they no longer exist as so many no longer do.
