Engraved bek which is code for Hensoldt Werk fur Optic und Mechanik, Herborn, Germany.
Companies disguised the names of the factories with codes. See www.actionoptics.com (and others) websites to explain the code system.
This type is known as “snipers’ binocs”. They have no big wheel on the central bar as they do not need one, the optics being so good. Users can go from infinity to comparatively close instantly.
Signs of wear (but they have been through a war). Eyepieces missing.
Some scratching out attempted on names. This was common on German military equipment as they tried to disguise the origins and likely owners of the kit for security reasons.
The optics are really excellent on one side. On the other side the adjustment ring seems to be mis- placed so that it will not focus correctly.
