This genuine pair of Zeiss military binoculars measure 160mm (6”) long x 145mm (6”) across and weigh 965 grams. They are marked to the end ” Radioactive CO 19356 ” and I assume they are also marked under the rubber covering but I dont have the confidence to remove this and refit it. From a little research on the net they are military issue with the righthand lens having an inbuilt site scale (reticle ) and the lefthand side is infrared. The righthand lens works fine but the lefthand lens is very very dark although all the lens look perfect, there is also a black glass circle to the right of the lens (photo6) and a flick switch to the right of the other lens (photo7) but what purpose they serve I have no idea. They have no damage to the lens or casing and I think it would just take a little bit of knowledge they would be as good as new. An unusual pair of military binoculars in honest vintage condition from one of the best makers sold with no reserve.
