I don’t know much about these, except that they appear to be fully working!Fujinon Stabiscope 10×40 5 degree stabilised binoculars. I believe these are military surplus but I could be wrong.Rubberised coating for durability – the rubber is deteriorating in places (due to age) but remains attached and completely covers the unit…Runs on 6 x AA batteries – I have tested with NiMH rechargeable batteries which seem to work and give good runtime…Image stabilisation is quick to start – once the gyro has started spinning you get a slight ‘wobble’ to the image but this stops fairly quickly (within 10 seconds or so) although this probably depends on the state of charge of the batteries?Other than that, I can’t test them any further! They do what they seem to be designed to do! Probably ideal for use on a boat or aircraft due to the vibration / motion?I’ve seen other stabilised binoculars go for 1000+ so i’ve started this auction at 199. I can’t offer any warranty so bid what you think they’re worth!Thanks for looking :)
