Here for your consideration is a good pair of vintage binoculars, stamped on the top Frank Swire , Halifax, and also stamped on the other side the name Viking, 8 x 25,covered in brown leatherette, and painted in brown, with nickle coated focusing sleeves, a very attractive retro style of binoculars, the focusing action is smooth and precise, but the prisms might be slightly out of alignment there is also a nice brown leather strap , These binoculars have been manufactured with brown paintwork and brown leatherette. not over painted or customized they are very unusual, unique, and special.I have tried to find out more about these binoculars but so far i have no further information, so i think they are probably very rare, now more of a collectable item than usable but still interesting you do not come across brown binoculars.
