This is a very high quality apochromatic refractor by Celestron. D80mm, F7.5. Ideal for both visual and photographic astronomical and terrestrial use. Detailed reviews on this optic can be found online.

This scope has an Apo doublet main lens, with one element made from the highly regarded FPL53 ED (extra low dispersion) glass. Colour correction is superb and the scope delivers razor sharp images across the field. The Optics are identical to those found on Skywatcher and Orion branded Apo scopes.

The original clamshell ring has been upgraded to twin felt lined rings with a Vixen-style dovetail plate which will fit most mounts.

The scope has a 2″ focuser which is very smooth in operation. No plastic on this scope, all metal, including the screw on dewshield.

The scope will take up to x200 on good nights for the moon and planets, and also offers a wide field of view for clusters etc.

The scope is in very good overall condition with just a few small marks/ scuffs on the tube from the rings. Optics are first class.

Skywatcher Black Diamond 6×30 finder scope and bracket.(Fixing bolt upgraded to allow more secure fit when fully tightened).
Tube rings x2 plus dovetail mounting bar
2″ focuser with 1.25″ reducer to allow the use of both 2″ and 1.25″ diagonals and eyepieces.
No other items are included.

I have the original box, which although having seen better days is fine for shipping the scope. Collection in person is welcome too.
