An honest and untouched example of this classic 1960’s binocular. Made in West Germany, this Model set the standard for light-weight, compact and BRIGHT “classy”- binoculars with amazing definition and depth of field.
The overall condition is good – very good, there are however one or two areas where the paint is beginning to wear-through ..but this is not excessive or ugly……..just the signs of 40-50 years of careful usage.
Optically VERY, VERY pleasing to look through, perfect to take to the races or on nature walks etc.
The faults; there are signs of the blooming being worn from over- zealous cleaning? on the Right hand side objective. Looking back through this glass A VERY FEINT water-mark is just notable, well outside the view-path, on the left hand side prism (this is only really visible under extreme scrutiny, way off to one edge, and in no-way affects the light-path).
Paint wear; moderate to low, through normal usage.
A lovely example of this popular (with the elite) classic Horse-racing or Birding binocular from the times when German glass was king.
Comes complete with a leather case that fit’s the binoculars but is not original?
