Very bright. Very sharp. They should have called this the ‘Very’ binocular instead of Skymaster – the only thing we missed was VERY good value! It really is a great bino for land and sky, but it’s BIG (have a look at the specs) It has to be big to make it so bright, which is what makes it so good. You can have a very bright very small very powerful binocular…….er, no, actually you can’t. The adverts you may have read for bino’s that are mega-powerful-tiny-see-in-the-dark are, how shall we put it?…… LYING. So if you want a bino, (let alone a GOOD* one) choose any two from the following list: Powerful / Small / High Quality This is Powerful and High Quality, so you can’t have small. Sorry! If you have a big view, want to see high flying planes, spot the moon etc this is the one for you. A tripod would be extremely useful (a mount is included) and you’ll have a LOT of fun seeing a LOT of stuff. *by ‘good’ we mean Bright/Sharp/Clear imagesThanks very much for looking, we have years of experience using optics, if you would like any help or advice we would love to hear from you!
