Who is this kit for?
This is a great starter kit for anyone starting to explore our universe. It allows you to easily set up both a microscope and telescope wherever you like, and comes with all the tools you need to use it straight away. Whether youre looking to do some bird watching, have an interest in the night sky or want to see the finer details through a microscope, this would be the right place to start.
Why use a refractor telescope?
Refractor telescopes use lenses to collect and focus light to magnify the image. They are sealed at both ends, making this type less prone to distortion due to air currents or dust contamination. This results in a steadier, sharper image.
This Celestron refractor telescope also comes with two eyepieces, one with 40x magnification and one with 28x, which can also be used as a 14x standalone magnifier. You can also achieve magnification up to 120x by using an additional eyepiece (not included).

This microscope comes with three objective lenses capable of magnifying 100x, 600x and 1,200x. As this kit comes with all the tools you need inside the box*, you can start using it straight away. There are six slides available, three of which are prepared and three of which are blank for you to experiment with.
