Celestron NexStar 130SLT Motorised Mount Telescope – used a couple of times. RRP 500!!Stored in a dry environment and about 4 years old a present that never has really been fully appreciated. Includes all the original accessories and has been setup and tested at the time of taking the photos for this listing.
Computerised and motorised tripod mount which lets you select the object from the handset and track across the sky. Great for photography of everything from the moon to nebula.
Includes two eye pieces, various adapters, manuals and CDs.

Celestron Nexstar 130SLT telescope

The Celestron NexStar 130SLT telescope is an affordable all-round reflector telescope with a lens diameter of 130mm. This telescope offers many features of high quality at a surprisingly affordable price. The large mirror makes for a high light gathering capacity, enabling you to see many heavenly bodies clearly and sharply. The telescope comes with a 9 and a 25 mm eyepiece. These fit into the 1.25 inch fitting; the telescope is also compatible with two inch diameter eyepieces. The Celestron NexStar 130SLT telescope comes with a CD-ROM with software for the telescope as well as with maps of the sky.

The Celestron NexStar 130SLT is the reflector (Newtonian) telescope.

Suitable for (astro) photography

This Celestron telescope is ideal for astrophotography and some adapters are included for a Sony NEX camera.

About the tripod

The tripod that comes with the Celestron NexStar 130SLT telescope has an altazimuth mount on very strong stainless steel legs. This tripod is very easy to collapse or to set up. Also, the stand features a convenient accessory tray to hold your maps of the sky, or other accessories that you use whilst stargazing.

GoTo

The telescope and mount have a full GoTo system. With this very useful system, the telescope will automatically find celestial objects for you. In the system 4000 celestial objects are pre-programmed which makes watching with this telescope easier and a lot of fun. The GoTo functionality features Celestron SkyAlign alignment technology which will align the telescope in no time at all
