In almost every way this is a NEW telescope (RRP 49.95)

Introduce your child to the fascinating world of astronomy
with this easy to use First Telescope.

Designed to be easy to use and with a simple Altazimuthal mounting, this telescope can be used with 1.25″ Eyepieces of different focal lengths to give different magnifications.

The Main Mirror of this Newtonian is 76mm (3″) and the
focal length is 300mm (12″).

This one comes with a 20mm eyepiece giving

300mm divided by 20mm = 15x Magnification.

Use this formula to find the magnification given by other eyepieces.

WHAT CAN YOU SEE?

Because this telescope has a short focal length it gives wide angle views…
Handy when you’re just starting out!

  Extended objects like Galaxies and Nebulae are readily seen as well as many star-clouds, several minor planets. 

Look below Orion’s belt and see the wonderful M42, the Great Nebula!

You will be able to observe Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and
Saturn easily, and Uranus and Neptune if you know where to look.
(You will need a short focal length eyepiece to see the planetary discs though.)

This amazing little telescope will show you excellent views of the Moon. 

Presented in its original packaging, with the eyepiece already in place, and accompanied by the instructions you’ll be observing immediately!

Just remove the lens cap and away you go!

Originally this telescope was a return because there was no eyepiece.
We have added an eyepiece and now you’re ready to go!
