This was a special birthday present bought new by my wife in 2009 which, rather ashamedly, I only used around 3 or 4 times since when it has languished in a corner of my study. A fine piece of kit for a true hobbyist which I’m obviously not. I have purchased a new powertank to check that it is still in working order before listing.   

It comes with all its original parts including handset, finderscope, 1 1/4″ star diagonal and eyepiece, all cables and covers. It also comes with a  new Celestron 7 Amp 12 volt powertank, I can reduce the price by 50 if this isn’t required. It comes without any of the original packaging with the exception of boxes for the lenses and finderscope.

The starting price reflects the fact that there is no reserve.

The item is for collection only but I am also prepared to deliver free for anywhere within a 40 mile radius of GL20 8TR.

The CPC 800 GPS XLT is the most portable of Celestron’s top of the line fork mounted astronomical telescopes and includes Celestron’s premium StarBright XLT coatings. This telescope is at home as a superb visual instrument or, with optional etras, as a serious astrophotographer’s
